At first glance, the existing layout appears naturally organised in a 3 x 3 grid. By simply shifting one bedroom wall, the hierarchy of spaces were redefined, creating a generous central foyer that naturally extends into the surrounding functions. The common spaces, though seemingly sits within a nook of it's own, now flow clearly and fluidly from one space to another, converging around this central foyer. 

This arrangement allows the private spaces to be quietly tucked into the corners of the house, while the common areas are unified around the foyer, enabling spaces to spill seamlessly into one another during larger gatherings.

By introducing an open shelf along the dining area, the entrance sequence is extended, creating an intimate sense of anticipation while also acting as a soft buffer between the main living spaces and the more utilitarian areas.
